Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Tab S12 series, featuring the 14.6-inch Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and 12.6-inch Galaxy Tab S12+, with upgraded processors, brighter Amoled displays, bundled S Pens, and expanded artificial intelligence features.
Both tablets are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor and run Android 17 with One UI 9. Samsung said the 3-nanometer processor delivers up to 61% faster NPU performance, 19% higher CPU performance, and 17% better GPU performance compared with the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra.

They also have IP68 water and dust resistance, a redesigned 3D Vapor Chamber cooling system, quad speakers with four-channel spatial audio, and an included S Pen.
The Tab S12 series supports Multi Window for running up to three apps on screen simultaneously. Samsung Notes integrates Note Assist for summarizing notes, while the S Pen can be used for writing, annotation, and sketching.
The tablets also include a six-month Google AI Pro trial, providing access to Gemini and Gemini Notebook for working with notes, images, recordings, and documents.
Adobe Photoshop comes preloaded on the devices in what Samsung said is the application’s debut on Android tablets. The app supports S Pen input and AI-powered features including Generative Fill and Image to Video.
Other productivity and creative applications supported on the tablets include Notability, Goodnotes, LumaFusion, Notion, Clip Studio Paint, Noteshelf 3, and ArcSite.
