Converge ICT Solutions has received the Five Golden Arrow rating for the second consecutive year, retaining the highest distinction in corporate governance given to publicly listed companies by the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD).
The award was presented during the ICD Golden Arrow Awards 2026 on Oct. 23, based on the Asean Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS), which assesses corporate governance practices among publicly listed companies.
Converge first received the Five Golden Arrow distinction in 2025. The company previously earned a One Golden Arrow rating during its first year as a publicly listed company, before advancing to Three Golden Arrows in 2022 and 2023.
“Being awarded the top governance rating for two straight years for a young listed company highlights the trajectory of Converge from a market challenger to an industry leader anchored by rigorous governance standards,” said former Supreme Court senior associate justice Estela Perlas-Bernabe, chairwoman of the Converge board of directors.
Converge independent director and immediate past chairman Jose P. de Jesus said corporate governance remains central to the company’s operations as it expands its connectivity services.
“At Converge, good governance is the very foundation of how we operate and how we serve,” de Jesus said during the awards ceremony.
“Regardless of how rapidly the technological landscape shifts, our true north remains unchanged. Our mission is to democratize technology by providing access to world-class, quality internet to the unserved and underserved. At Converge, our choice is clear: we use tech for good,” he said.
De Jesus added that corporate governance helps ensure that the company’s growth remains aligned with its stated mission, including creating opportunities for communities and supporting local economies through connectivity.

Laurice Esteban-Tuason, Converge senior vice president and corporate compliance, data protection, and sustainability officer, said governance should go beyond meeting regulatory requirements.
“Good corporate governance provides the necessary guardrails for us to pursue innovation and growth while remaining mindful of our responsibilities,” she said.
“Rather than viewing corporate governance as a mere compliance requirement, we treat it as an integral strategic tool for building a resilient organization, mitigating risk, and creating meaningful long-term value across our ecosystem.”
