Honor Philippines has launched its latest flagship foldable, the Honor Magic V5, which the company touts as its thinnest foldable smartphone to date.
Measuring just 8.8mm when folded, the Magic V5 features a 6.43-inch OLED cover display and a 7.95-inch OLED foldable screen, both capable of up to 5,000 nits brightness.
It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, paired with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, and runs on MagicOS 9.01 (Android 15). The device houses a 6,100mAh battery with 66W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The camera system includes a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 64MP telephoto lens, while both inner and outer displays sport a 20MP selfie camera.
The phone carries IP58 and IP59 dust- and water-resistance certifications and even secured a Guinness World Record for lifting 104kg — the heaviest weight suspended by a foldable phone.
Priced at ₱89,999, the Magic V5 is available in Dawn Gold and Reddish Brown. Globe Postpaid subscribers can get the device under the All-New GPlan PLUS 1799, with monthly payments starting at ₱2,813 for 24 months, bundled with a free Honor Pad X8a worth ₱7,999.
Alongside the foldable, Honor also introduced the MagicPad 3 tablet, designed for productivity and content creation.
The device sports a 13.3-inch LCD display, runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, and comes with 16GB RAM, 512GB storage, and a 12,450mAh battery with 66W fast charging.
The MagicPad 3 integrates AI tools for writing assistance, meeting transcription, and handwriting-to-text conversion, while its Eight Speakers Honor Spatial Audio enhances multimedia experiences.
Bundled with a Magic Keyboard and Pencil, the tablet is priced at ₱49,999 and comes in a premium Gray finish.
Both the Magic V5 and MagicPad 3 are now available in Honor partner and experience stores, as well as online platforms including Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
