Cloud property management provider Hotelogix has received certification from the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), allowing hotels in the Philippines to use its system to issue tax-compliant receipts and reports directly from its software.
The approval makes Hotelogix one of the few cloud-based property management systems (PMS) authorized to support real-time tax documentation, a requirement as the government tightens digital compliance among hospitality businesses.
The BIR requires hotels to use certified systems for issuing official receipts, maintaining transparent books of accounts, and filing tax reports.
Hotels using Hotelogix can now generate BIR-compliant documents and prepare financial reports without relying on separate tools or manual processes.
The BIR certification is part of the agency’s push to digitize tax reporting and improve audit traceability across industries, including tourism and accommodation.
The platform is currently used by several Philippine hotel operators, including Global Officium Limited Inc. (GOLI), Enable Hospitality, Araw Hospitality Group, Astoria Hotels and Resorts, Azalea Hotels and Residences, and The Henry Hotels.
The company said it manages more than 10,000 users and over 15,000 hotel keys locally.
