Xiaomi PH intros audio glasses, buds, air purifier, e-scooters

Xiaomi expanded its AIoT lineup with the launch of several new products in the Philippines, rolling out smart audio, home sanitation, and personal mobility devices alongside the debut of the RedMi Note 15 Series.

The latest additions include the Mijia Smart Audio Glasses, RedMi Buds 8 Lite, Mijia Smart Air Purifier Max, and two new electric scooters.

Mijia Smart Audio Glasses

The Mijia Smart Audio Glasses combine eyewear design with open-ear audio technology, allowing users to listen to music or take calls while remaining aware of their surroundings.

The device features a speaker system paired with four built-in microphones and supports wind noise reduction of up to 4.5 meters per second.

A new privacy mode uses a customized algorithm to minimize sound leakage during calls or meetings without compromising audio clarity. The glasses are available in three styles: Titanium, Pilot-Style, and Browline.

The Browline and Titanium variants offer up to 25% blue light protection, while the Pilot-Style version comes with UV400 lenses that block up to 99.99% of harmful ultraviolet rays.

Weighing as little as 27.6 grams, the Titanium model is designed for extended wear. The glasses feature a piano-wire hinge tested for more than 15,000 flexes and carry an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.

Powering the device are compact steel-cased batteries embedded in the frame, keeping the profile to just 5mm. A 10-minute charge delivers up to four hours of playback, while a full charge provides up to 13 hours of use.

Pricing starts at ₱12,999 for the Titanium version and ₱10,999 for the Browline and Pilot-Style variants.

RedMi Buds 8 Lite

Xiaomi also introduced the RedMi Buds 8 Lite, aimed at users seeking affordable wireless audio. The earbuds are available in Black, White, and Blue, and are equipped with a 12.4mm titanium-diaphragm driver for improved sound clarity.

The Buds 8 Lite support Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity and AAC and SBC audio codecs. They feature Transparency mode for environmental awareness, as well as hybrid active noise cancellation designed to suppress ambient noise.

Users can choose from five preset EQ modes to adjust bass, vocals, or treble, and the earbuds support dual-device connectivity for seamless switching between gadgets.

A quick 10-minute charge provides up to two hours of playback. The RedMi Buds 8 Lite are priced at ₱1,199.

Mijia Smart Air Purifier Max

For home use, Xiaomi launched the Mijia Smart Air Purifier Max, which delivers a clean air delivery rate (CADR) of up to 1,006.5 cubic meters per hour.

Designed for large spaces, the purifier operates at noise levels as low as 19.1dB and includes built-in wheels for portability.

The device features real-time formaldehyde monitoring and removal, supported by a four-stage composite filtration system.

Dual UVC modules are used for virus and bacteria elimination, and the purifier has received SGS certification for allergen removal. The Mijia Smart Air Purifier Max retails for ₱24,999.

Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 and 6 Lite

Completing the lineup are two new electric scooters. The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 features 12-inch tubeless tires, front dual spring shock absorbers, and a maximum range of up to 45 kilometers. It delivers up to 800W of peak power and can handle inclines of up to 18%.

The more affordable Electric Scooter 6 Lite comes with 10-inch pneumatic tires, a dual braking system, and a range of up to 25 kilometers. It offers 500W of peak power and supports inclines of up to 15%.

The Electric Scooter 6 is priced at ₱22,999, while the Electric Scooter 6 Lite retails for ₱18,999.
