foodpanda Philippines has opened new pandamart fulfillment hubs in Calamba, Laguna and Caloocan City, expanding its quick-commerce network to 23 locations nationwide.
The hubs operate around the clock and fulfill grocery and essential-goods orders placed through the foodpanda app. The company said deliveries typically take between 25 and 35 minutes.
Unlike conventional supermarkets, pandamart facilities function as “dark stores” that are not open to walk-in customers. They stock products specifically for online orders and adjust their inventories based on demand within nearby communities.
“This marks another milestone for us as we continue to adapt to our customers’ changing needs. Every new pandamart brings us closer to our goal of providing Filipinos with a more affordable, convenient, and accessible way to shop for groceries online,” said Joseph Wijesekara, director of Q-Commerce at foodpanda Philippines.
The network covers parts of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Bulacan, Pampanga, Benguet, Metro Manila, Metro Cebu and Davao. Foodpanda also operates smaller hubs in eastern Metro Manila and the Rizal area.
foodpanda said the additional locations are intended to shorten delivery distances and allow each hub to carry products based on neighborhood purchasing patterns.
The expansion comes as delivery platforms compete for a larger share of the Philippine online grocery market, where speed and proximity to customers are central to the quick-commerce model.
The company said the new hubs would also create warehouse jobs, additional orders for delivery riders and distribution channels for local consumer-goods suppliers and small businesses.
