During her live keynote, AMD chair Dr. Lisa Su showcased next-generation AMD leadership products redefining what’s possible across the broad markets AMD serves today.
AMD said the AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.2 is the latest update to its temporal upscaling technology and upgrades the already improved upscaling image quality of FSR 2.1 with further quality enhancements to alleviate ghosting on fast-moving objects, such as the cars found in the three games that currently support FSR 2.2.

Chipmaker AMD recently announced that its high-performance computing (HPC) technology is behind the Frontier system developed by the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) which achieved a score of 1.1 exaflops.
The AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor is the first Ryzen processor to feature AMD 3D V-Cache technology that delivers 15% more gaming performance compared to processors without stacked cache technology, making it one of the world’s most advanced desktop gaming processor.
Semiconductor maker AMD will be showcasing its new developments on the AMD EPYC processors and AMD Instinct accelerators on November 8, during a livestreamed event entitled “Accelerated Data Center Premiere.” This event will also be available for replay after its conclusion.
Accomplishing this ambitious goal will require AMD to increase the energy efficiency of a compute node at a rate that is more than 2.5x faster than the aggregate industry-wide improvement made during the last five years.
Similar to the AMD Radeon RX 6000 graphics card series, the Radeon Pro W6000 series is built on the brand’s RDNA 2 architecture that brings up to 65% more performance per watt over previous generation RDNA.
