As a retort to the claim of Globe Telecom that it is now the top mobile service provider in the country, tech titan PLDT has asserted that its mobile subsidiary Smart Communications continues to be the top mobile service provider in the Philippines, in terms of subscriber base and revenues.
In a bold claim, Ayala-owned Globe Telecom said on Tuesday, April 7, that it has established leadership in the Philippine mobile industry on multiple business fronts, making it the top mobile brand in the country.
