Chinese smartphone brand realme has claimed the top spot in the Philippine smartphone market after posting an impressive annual growth of 962.5% and capturing 25.4% of local market share in the third quarter.
Compared to its predecessor, the Narzo 20 features an upgraded chipset, a larger battery capacity, and new paint jobs.
At P6,490, the Realme C15 literally redefines the segment, bringing features that were previously reserved for higher-tier midrange phones. Corners were indeed cut, but it was done thoughtfully, to not compromise critical needs, but drop less noticeable comforts that aren’t easily missed.
Realme devices with warranty expiring during the duration of the ECQ will receive an extension of seven days after the quarantine. Additionally, customers whose gadgets have a replacement period expiring within the ECQ may also have their devices replaced up to three days after the lifting of the month-long ECQ.
Oppo and Vivo held the top two spots with 27% and 25% shares, respectively. Tech powerhouse Samsung was number 3 with a 9% share during Q4 but its shipments plunged by 32% — the only company to experience to a negative growth.
