Cebu-based Webmasters Esports has secured a spot in the grand finals of the realme Mobile Cup (RMC) Season 10 after winning the tournament’s Visayas regional championship.
Webmasters Esports emerged on top of the 64-team Cebu regional leg, defeating its opponent 2-0 in the best-of-three finals held at SM Seaside City Cebu. The team will face the eventual champions of the Luzon and Mindanao legs in the Season 10 grand finals.
The tournament, co-presented by SM Cyberzone, will next hold its Luzon regional competition on Aug. 29 at SM City San Lazaro, followed by the Mindanao leg on Sept. 6 at SM Lanang Premier.
Each regional tournament will feature 64 teams competing for a regional championship and a berth in the grand finals.
RMC Season 10 has a P1-million prize pool, with the eventual champion receiving P250,000 in cash and P125,000 worth of realme products. Other top-performing teams will receive cash prizes and realme smartphones, while the tournament’s most valuable player will receive realme products.
With Webmasters Esports already representing the Visayas, the remaining regional tournaments will determine the Luzon and Mindanao teams that will compete for the Season 10 championship.
