The report from Gobi-Core Philippine Fund found that the total funding amount for 2024 reached over $1 billion, almost 4 times larger than last year.

The city government said it recognizes the startup community’s immense potential to stimulate the local economy and bring about positive change and the Startup QC Program aims to create jobs, cultivate the entrepreneurial spirit, promote innovation, and develop the city’s start-up ecosystem by providing qualified entrepreneurs with equity-free financial grants of up to P1,000,000.
