With its eyes set on selling models that can be used as public utility vehicles (PUVs), Toyota Motor Philippines Corp. has partnered with the city governments of Pasay and Sta. Rosa in Laguna for the Toyota Community Shuttle (TCS) – a free transportation service, which will be delivered via digital interface.
Toyota Motor Philippines made the statement as it unveiled its lineup of hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) at the opening of the 8th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) on Sept. 15 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
Toyota Motor Philippines also said the country is currently seeing the fastest adoption rate of electric vehicles (xEV) yet since the very first Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) was introduced commercially in the country in 2009.
First introduced in the Philippines in 2006, the Avanza is now on its third generation with more tech features and striking design upgrades for its 2022 reinvention.
