Sony takes 3D-capable Xperia XZ1 smartphone to local market

Introduced in the recent IFA tech show in Berlin, the Sony Xperia XZ1 smartphone officially lands in the Philippines with its entertainment skill set aboard.

Showcasing the handset’s dedication to 3D technology, the Xperia XZ1 allows users to easily scan 3D objects using the company’s unique in-house features including several scan modes such as Head, Face, Food, and Free-Form. It is also compatible with 3D printers.

The XZ1 logs 960 frames per second videos and captures DSLR-caliber photos using the Exmor RS sensor and its new autofocus burst. On the other hand, the front camera sports 1/3-inch sensor and a display flash for darker areas.

There are several Sony technologies incorporated in this flagship smartphone; one of them is Sony Bravia’s High Dynamic Range (HDR). Reflecting on XZ1’s 5.2-inch Full HD display, the Triluminos Display, X-Reality, and Dynamic Contrast are backed up by DSEE HX to provide user with a complete audio-visual experience.

Sony Xperia XZ1’s heart is made of Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile platform with X16 LTE for fast performance and high-end graphics. With enhanced battery and Qnovo Adaptive Charging, this handset is also equipped with Smart Stamina that learns your smartphone usage and adopts to your preference.

The Sony Xperia XZ1 is ready for pre-order in Sony Centers and Xperia Shops from September 15 to October 1.
