Damien Wong, general manager for Asean at Red Hat, speaks during the Red Hat Forum at the Makati Shangri-la in Makati City wherein he emphasized that the future is open for many companies, especially with more organizations seeing the benefits of using open source.
Wong explained further that in 2013, Red Hat launched a series of products to support customers’ journey to an open hybrid cloud. These included Red Hat Cloud Infrastructure, which comprises of Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform, Red Hat CloudForms, and Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization, all of which makes up their solution to build the foundation for a future-proof and hybrid cloud.
Since its introduction, there have been a number of customers, leaders in technology adoption in their respective fields, working closely with Red Hat’s Asean teams on pilot project deployments.
