The governments of the Philippines and the United States conducted on Oct. 27-28 the first Joint Committee Meeting (JCM) on science and technology, which sought to discuss opportunities for collaboration and identify action plans for a number of science and technology areas.


The meeting, held at the Diamond Hotel in Manila, was attended by (from left) House committee on science and technology chair Victor Yu, DOST secretary Mario G.
