Storage company Transcend is offering free installation of PlayStation 4-compatible solid-state drive (SSD) in selected PlayStation stores.
SSDs runs faster than the conventional hard disk drive (HDD), reducing the load times in games. In a recent comparison review by Back2Gaming, a full boot takes the PS4 about 24 seconds to get to the PlayStation Dynamic Menu screen with the default HDD. With the Transcend SSD220S, it took only 19 seconds to get the job done.
