Computer technology firm Dell has proclaimed the arrival ?in the Philippines of the world’s smallest 13-inch 2-in-1 laptop ? the? XPS 13.
The XPS 13 runs a Windows 10 operating system and new 7th-Gen Intel?Core?processors in its?360-degree?machined aluminum and carbon fiber body.
?The XPS 13 2-in-1 takes the sleek design of our beloved XPS 13 and kicks it up a notch with a new architecture in a 360-degree design,? said Jay Ranola, consumer business head at Dell Philippines. ?Built for maximum mobility ? virtually a mandatory demand from consumers today – we?ve made it thinner, smaller and easily convertible to tablet, tent and stand mode.?
Designed to top the hybrid devices of its competitors, the XPS 13 2-in-1 was?crafted with premium materials: machined aluminum, carbon fiber and Corning?Gorilla?Glass, with?the 360-degrees steel hinges also wrapped in machined aluminum.
It sports an InfinityEdge display ? the first in a 2-in-1 ? with only a 5.2mm border on the top and both sides. The screen delivers crisp images and precise detail on an UltraSharp?Quad HD+ touch technology.
The XPS 13 eliminated the heat fan to keep it silent and enable an 8-13.7mm width measurement without noise. It supports USB Type-C with Thunderbolt 3 connection for charging and display functionality, allowing faster downloads and one-cable docking solutions.
In terms of security, the XPS 13 is Windows Hello-enabled supporting fingerprint reading and face recognition to easily and securely unlock the system with a touch or a nod.
The XPS 13 2-in-1 comes with Dell Premium Support and is already available in the Philippines with a starting price of P99,990.
