Epson Philippines rolled out its new L-series ink tank printers during its “Greatness Re-engineered” event at Shangri-La Fort in Bonifacio Global City.
The L-series has a redesigned exterior to shrink into a compact physique, which the printing technology company claims as “the smallest footprint among all brands of ink tank printers.”
Engineered to lower businesses’ operating costs, each complete set of four ink bottles increased its yield to 7,500 black and white pages and 6,000 color pages. The pigment-based black ink also provides users with water- and smudge-resistant documents when printing in monochrome.
Printers in the L-series come with auto-duplex print function, allowing the 50% savings on paper costs. They have PrecisionCore printheads to achieve high ISO print speeds up to 15 impression-per-minute (IPM) for standard black and white printing, and 33 page-per-minute (PPM) for draft printing.
These printers deliver a maximum print resolution of 4800 x 1200 dots-per-inch (DPI) with Micro Thin Film Piezo print chips for precise multi-size droplet control capabilities for details and smooth gradations in documents or photographs.
The L-series printers are also equipped with Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Wi-Fi direct connectivity for remote printing via Epson Connect.
“Epson printers have also taken steps to drastically reduce environmental impact by lessening the amount of consumables used,” said Russer Cabrera, product manager for inkjet printers at Epson Philippines.
The L-series ink tank printers include L4150, L4160, L6160, L6170, and L6190 models.
