Samsung rolls out Galaxy J6 smartphone in PH, priced at P13,000

Tech titan Samsung has officially launched in the country the latest addition to their J series model of smartphones ? the Galaxy J6 — with features intended for entertainment use while keeping them at an affordable price.

With a suggested retail price of P13,000, Samsung Galaxy J6 features a Super AMOLED TV Display that provides a high color clarity and screen-to-body ratio optimized for film viewing. It is also has Dolby Atmos that allows clearer audio and a 1.6GHz octa-core processor that can handle heavy games.

“If you are looking for excellent entertainment experience, I would implore you to get the J6 because first of all, it’s more affordable. Second, for your entertainment needs, trust me, the [Dolby] Atmos really delves you into the tone… it makes the background notes a bit more hear-able… everything sounds more robust,” Samsung Philippines marketing manager for core smartphones Nico Gonzales said.

The Galaxy J7 has the following specifications:

? 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM, and microSD of up to 256GB
? 13MP camera and 8MP front camera, both with F1.9 aperture
? Android 8.0 Oreo operating system
? LTE Cat. 4 connectivity
? Face recognition, fingerprint scanner, secure folder
? Samsung Cloud storage of 15GB
? Galaxy J6 comes in either black or gold color, with a size of 149.3 by 70.2 by 8.2mm and weighing 154g

Samsung also announced celebrity star Nadine Lustre will be the ambassador of the Galaxy J6 and will make her appearance on June 15 at SM Mall of Asia.
