Founded in 1996, PHI has since grown to a company that runs a chain of restaurants such as Taters, Fruitfull Smoothies and Juices, Mismukuno Teppanyaki, Cafe Racer, Sushi Boy, Lantaw, and Moon Cafe.

“We have chosen to implement SAP Business One to boost productivity, business visibility and profitability. More importantly, this implementation is in line with company’s vision to grow and expand the business both in Cebu and around the country in the next five to ten years,” said John Pages, executive vice president of PHI.

AGS, a business management solutions provider in the Philippines and a wholly-owned subsidiary of ePLDT, is the implementation partner for SAP Business One.

Dave de Leon, chief operating officer of AGS, said the ongoing implementation is a reminder of the company’s continuous efforts to empower success-driven enterprises in the Philippines and help them become more successful.

“We’ve built our clients on bringing about improvements to the growth and profitability of companies across different industries,” said De Leon. “Through this implementation, we hope to help more enterprises grow their business digitally and profitably.”

Pages said the food and beverage industry is a highly dynamic industry that requires the company to adapt to changing customer tastes and service preferences.

“We chose SAP Business One because we needed a more comprehensive system that will help us seamlessly run operations so that we can focus more on serving our customers better,” Pages said.

With SAP Business One, a business management software specifically made for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across all industries, PHI expects to have quicker access to accurate financial and operational reports for informed decisions.

SAP Philippines managing director Edler Panlilio said that, “We are honored to have a leading company such as PHI to continue the trajectory of growth and are optimistic in VisMin’s burgeoning growth of SMEs. We believe that all kinds of businesses would succeed in their digital transformation with a robust system to support them with SAP Business One.”
