The new smartphones feature an enhanced quad rear camera setup consisting of a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP wide angle lens, a 13MP telephoto lens, and a 2MP mono lens. It supports a 5x hybrid zoom and 20x of digital zoom, and for landscape shots, an ultra-wide angle lens that offers 116° of viewing angle. Some of the stock camera features equipped on the Reno2 includes Ultra Steady Mode which utilizes the Optical Image Stabilization of the device. It can also shoot stable and smooth-looking videos at a 60fps frame rate.
For low-light conditions, the Ultra Dark Mode can help produce images that come out crisp and with enhanced clarity. The depth sensor on the device can also be activated when shooting videos via the Bokeh Effect Video mode.
Its background Noise Reduction cuts out background noise to focus on the subject’s audio, while the Audio Zoom feature first seen on the Samsung Note 10 that amplifies the sound when zooming in on the subject is also available.
Powering the Reno2 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G and an Adreno 618 GPU with 8GB worth of RAM and 256GB of storage. The device runs ColorOS 6.1 on top of Android 9 (Pie) while its 4000mAh battery supports VOOC 3.0 flash charging technology.
For gaming needs, users can activate Hyper Boost 2.0, Frame Boost, and Touch Boost coupled with Dolby ATMOS to make their experience on the 6.5” AMOLED panel more immersive.
Oppo’s new wireless noise-cancelling headphone offering was also announced during the Reno2 Series launch. The Oppo ENCO Q1 features noise-cancelling levels that is optimized in low-frequency noise environments by cancelling out external noise with the help of its 11.8mm high-res dynamic driver units with added PEEK+PU composite diaphragms which uses a circular array of annular concave patterns resulting to a reduction in frequency response curves for better sound quality and fidelity.
Retailing for P4,990.00, the Oppo ENCO Q1 can play through 15 of music play time and 22 hours of standby time, while charging within two hours and is equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 and connection for up to 10 meters. Color options include Midnight Black and Sunny Orange.
