Network intelligence company Ookla has released its third quarter report on the state of the Philippines’ mobile networks revealing that among top mobile operators in the country, Smart Communications delivered the fastest median download speed at 35.56 Mbps, followed by Globe at 22.42 Mbps, and DITO at 19.53 Mbps.
For devices, Ooklas said an analysis of performance on some of the fastest phones in Philippines found that there was no statistical winner during the third quarter of 2023.
Ookla said it examined combined performance by major cell phone manufacturers and found that devices from Apple had the fastest median download speed in Philippines during Q3 2023 at 47.10 Mbps.
Samsung devices followed at 33.77 Mbps, Xiaomi at 29.18 Mbps, and Huawei at 18.99 Mbps.
