realme has officially launched the realme 16 Series 5G in the Philippines, showcasing a new lineup designed to enhance photography, extend battery life, and incorporate advanced AI features.
The series includes the realme 16 Pro+ 5G, realme 16 Pro 5G, and realme 16 5G, each tailored to different user needs.
The key feature across the Pro models is the 200MP Multi-focal LumaColor Camera System, which allows for detailed photography at various focal lengths.
The realme 16 Pro+ 5G further enhances this capability with a 50MP 3.5x telephoto lens, ideal for portraits and zoom shots, while the realme 16 Pro 5G makes the 200MP main sensor accessible to a broader audience.
The realme 16 5G offers a more affordable option, featuring a dual 50MP portrait camera system powered by a Sony IMX852 sensor, ensuring high-quality images for everyday use.
For content creation, the series incorporates AI tools such as AI Edit Genie 2.0, AI Instant Clip, and AI Portrait Glow, allowing users to edit and share their photos quickly.
Additionally, features like Vibe Master Mode and AI Photo Popout enable users to add a personal touch to their photography.
All three models are equipped with a 7000mAh battery designed for extended usage. The Pro variants also support 80W SUPERVOOC charging, providing fast recharging.
In terms of chipsets, the realme 16 Pro+ 5G runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, while the realme 16 Pro 5G is powered by the Dimensity 7300 Max.
Both benefit from an Airflow Vapor Chamber Cooling System for optimal performance. The realme 16 5G uses the Dimensity 6400 Turbo, optimized for everyday tasks.
The Pro models stand out with AMOLED displays featuring refresh rates of up to 144Hz and peak brightness levels reaching 6,500 nits, ensuring a smooth viewing experience even in bright sunlight. In contrast, the realme 16 5G offers a compact design with a 120Hz AMOLED display.
Durability is also a key aspect of the series, with all models rated IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K, providing protection against dust and water exposure.
The lineup features distinctive finishes, with the realme 16 Pro+ 5G available in Master Gold, the realme 16 Pro 5G in Pebble Grey and Orchid Purple, and the realme 16 5G in Air White and Air Black, along with an innovative built-in selfie mirror on the back.
The realme 16 Series 5G is now available nationwide, with the realme 16 5G (8GB+256GB) priced at P25,999, the realme 16 Pro 5G (8GB+256GB) at P31,999, and the realme 16 Pro+ 5G (12GB+512GB) at P43,999.
As part of the launch, pre-orders from April 23 to 30 come with free gifts, including realme Buds Air7 or realme Watch S2, a 5000mAh power bank, and a Privilege Card, along with discounts of up to P2,000 and total benefits valued at up to P8,900.
