Coins.ph, Bayad link systems for faster bill payments

Coins.ph has partnered with payment network Bayad to nearly double the number of billers available on its mobile app to about 300.

The direct integration connects Coins.ph with Bayad’s biller network without relying on third-party aggregators, which the companies said would speed up transaction processing and improve payment reliability.

The expanded service covers 17 categories, including utilities, government services, telecommunications, travel and banking.

Coins.ph said the integration also enables real-time posting for major billers, with payments reflected within 24 hours. The feature is intended to reduce the risk of delayed posting and corresponding late-payment charges.

“We want to show how Coins.ph fits naturally into your daily life,” Coins.ph global marketing director Amira Alawi said.

“By partnering with a household name as trusted as Bayad, we’re making it incredibly easy for our users to settle their utilities and everyday expenses with nearly 300 billers, all in just a few taps.”

“This partnership bridges the best of everyday traditional payments with the power of digital finance,” Bayad chief commercial and marketing officer Dennis Gatuslao said.

“By linking Bayad’s direct-to-biller network with Coins.ph’s innovative app, we are eliminating boundaries for users. It’s all about creating a faster, more reliable experience that shows how effortless managing household expenses can truly be.”

The expanded biller network is available to registered Coins.ph users through the latest version of its iOS and Android apps.
