Chinese electric vehicle maker XPeng has formally launched in the Philippines with six variants of its X9 electric MPV and L03 SUV coupe, including a range-extended model capable of traveling up to 1,017 kilometers with its battery and onboard generator.
The Philippine lineup starts at P1.548 million for the L03 EV Standard Range and goes up to P4.058 million for the X9 Long Range with Second Row Premium Seat Package.
The company also named actress and television host Anne Curtis as its Philippine brand ambassador during its launch at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. XPeng also displayed its X2 flying car and IRON humanoid robot at the event.
“Tonight, Filipino customers saw the full range of choices behind our Philippine debut, from the space and comfort of the XPeng X9 to the different electric driving options offered by the XPeng L03,” said Katoon Su, country director of XPeng Philippines.
“We are pairing these vehicles with comprehensive ownership support and a growing dealer network because the customer experience after the launch matters just as much as the technology presented on stage,” Su added.
X9 gets two variants
The seven-seat XPeng X9 will be sold in two Long Range configurations. The standard X9 Long Range costs P3.858 million, while the version equipped with the Second Row Premium Seat Package is priced at P4.058 million.
The Premium Seat Package adds four-way powered headrest adjustment and 16-point massage functions. The regular Long Range version instead uses Zero-Gravity second-row seats separated by a central aisle for easier access to the third row.
Both variants have active rear-wheel steering that gives the large MPV a 5.4-meter turning radius, along with dual-chamber air suspension and a powered third row that folds beneath the floor.
The X9 uses a front-wheel-drive electric powertrain producing 235 kW and 450 Nm of torque. Its 110-kWh battery provides up to 615 kilometers of range under the WLTP testing cycle.
XPeng said the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in about 12 minutes using a compatible DC fast charger under optimal conditions.
L03 starts at P1.548 million
The L03 SUV coupe will be available in four versions: three battery-electric vehicles and one range-extended electric vehicle, or REEV.

The Long Range Ultra carries a 71.1-kWh battery with up to 480 kilometers of range and adds front-seat massage, an upgraded audio system, and additional driver-assistance hardware.
The EV Long Range uses the same 71.1-kWh battery but is rated for up to 520 kilometers, while the Standard Range gets a 58.3-kWh battery and up to 445 kilometers of range.
The L03 REEV takes a different approach. It has a 37.2-kWh battery providing up to 215 kilometers of pure electric range. When the battery needs additional energy, an onboard combustion engine generates electricity rather than directly driving the wheels.
XPeng puts the REEV’s combined WLTP range at up to 1,017 kilometers.
All four L03 variants use a rear-wheel-drive electric motor and support DC fast charging from 10% to 80% in about 20 minutes under optimal conditions.
The five-seat vehicle also comes with a 539-liter rear cargo area, 15.6-inch central touchscreen, and XPeng’s driver-assistance and safety systems.
Deliveries expected in fourth quarter
XPeng is bundling the X9 with five years of free preventive maintenance and roadside assistance, a five-year bumper-to-bumper warranty, an eight-year battery and electric motor warranty, and a 7-kW wall charger.

XPeng Philippines is a direct subsidiary of the Guangzhou-based automaker and its first subsidiary in Southeast Asia. The company said its cumulative global vehicle deliveries had exceeded 1.2 million as of July 31, 2026.
