Asus has launched its latest Zenbook 14 laptop series in the Philippines, offering consumers a choice of Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm Snapdragon processors, OLED displays, and dedicated artificial intelligence (AI) hardware, with prices starting at P76,995.
The new Zenbook 14 UX3480 series consists of Copilot+ PCs designed to run AI-powered applications locally through built-in neural processing units (NPUs), reducing reliance on cloud-based processing for supported workloads.
The Intel-powered UX3480AA is available with either an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H or Core Ultra 7 355 processor, paired with 24GB and 16GB of LPDDR5X memory, respectively.
The AMD-based UX3480KA comes with Ryzen AI 7 345 or Ryzen AI 5 330 processors, both equipped with 16GB LPDDR5X memory.
Meanwhile, the Snapdragon-powered UX3480QA uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X X1-26-100 processor with 16GB LPDDR5X memory.
The Intel and AMD configurations feature NPUs capable of delivering up to 50 trillion operations per second (TOPS) of AI performance, while the Snapdragon version offers 45 TOPS.
All three processor platforms meet Microsoft’s Copilot+ PC requirements, allowing the laptops to support compatible AI features and applications.
Asus said it has increased the thermal design power of the new Zenbook 14 to as much as 35 watts, representing a 25% increase over the previous generation. The laptops also feature a larger cooling fan, improved airflow, and additional dust protection.
The new models weigh as little as 1.1 kilograms and use an all-metal chassis with the company’s Ceraluminum lid material.
The laptops feature 14-inch, 16:10 Asus OLED displays with up to an 89% screen-to-body ratio. Models offered in the Philippines use WUXGA OLED panels, with touchscreen functionality available on selected Intel configurations.
Other hardware features include Dolby Atmos-enhanced dual speakers, a larger gesture-enabled touchpad, a backlit keyboard, USB-C and USB Type-A ports, HDMI connectivity, and an audio combo jack.
Asus claims battery life of up to 33 hours, depending on configuration and usage conditions. The laptops also support fast charging through a compact USB-C charger compatible with other supported devices.
