Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) showcased gaming laptops, graphics cards, OLED monitors, and peripherals at the ROG Nvidia Gamer Standard NBA 2K27 Edition event, featuring systems powered by Nvidia GeForce RTX 50-series GPUs.
The event included demonstrations of Nvidia DLSS 5, an artificial intelligence (AI) technology designed to enhance image quality and gaming visuals, alongside NBA 2K27 gameplay and a tournament offering a P20,000 championship prize.
Among the laptops featured were the ROG Strix SCAR 18, ROG Zephyrus Duo, Zephyrus G16, and Zephyrus G14. Select configurations are available with up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU.

The 18-inch ROG Strix SCAR 18 features a customizable AniMe Vision LED display on its lid, a 360-degree RGB light bar, and tool-less access to RAM and SSD components for upgrades. Its Nebula HDR display supports refresh rates of up to 240Hz and peak brightness of 1,200 nits.
Asus also highlighted its ROG Intelligent Cooling system, which the company says can reduce operating temperatures by up to 15 degrees Celsius.
The ROG Zephyrus Duo has two 16-inch displays and a detachable magnetic keyboard. Its five operating modes support different uses, including gaming, streaming, programming, content creation, and multitasking.
The configurations allow users to switch between conventional laptop use, dual-screen setups, book mode, sharing mode, and tent mode.

For users seeking more portable devices, Asus featured the Zephyrus G14 and G16, the ROG Ally handheld gaming device, and the ROG Flow Z30.
The company also presented its desktop graphics card lineup, including the ROG Matrix, ROG Astral, ROG Strix, TUF Gaming, ProArt, Prime, Dual, and Phoenix series.
The ROG Astral lineup includes GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 models, while the ROG Strix series includes an RTX 5070 Ti variant.
The TUF Gaming range covers several RTX 50-series configurations, while the Prime lineup includes models from the RTX 5080 down to the RTX 5060. The compact Dual series includes RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060 models.

Asus also showcased power supplies under its ROG Thor, ROG Strix Platinum, TUF Gaming, and Prime product lines.
The company said it offers a four-year warranty on its graphics cards and motherboards. Eligible graphics cards are covered by replacement provisions, while motherboards are covered by repair provisions, subject to warranty terms and product availability.
Its monitor lineup included the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP, which features a 2K-resolution OLED panel with a 540Hz refresh rate, as well as the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQ-WMG and 34-inch OLED models.
Select monitors feature Neo Proximity technology, which automatically dims or turns off the display when a user moves away to help reduce the risk of OLED burn-in.
ROG peripherals featured at the event included the wired ROG Falchion Ace 75 HE keyboard with magnetic switches, ROG Harpe esports gaming mice, and ROG Delta II headset.
The ROG Delta II supports DualFlow Audio, allowing users to connect audio sources simultaneously through a wireless dongle and Bluetooth. Asus also presented ROG Xbox wireless controllers.

The event used NBA 2K27 demonstrations to showcase gaming on GeForce RTX-powered systems, including Nvidia DLSS 5 image enhancements and frame-generation capabilities.
Asus and Nvidia also held an NBA 2K27 tournament, with P20,000 awarded as the championship prize.
