Online gambling operator DigiPlus Interactive has partnered with Philippine First Insurance Co. Inc. (PhilFirst) to roll out a surety bond program covering online gambling players.
The program, which is now in effect, secures player balances of up to P1 million per account across DigiPlus platforms such as BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone.
The coverage is automatic and does not require players to purchase a separate policy.
Eligibility criteria include updated electronic Know-Your-Customer (eKYC) information, at least one successful deposit, and compliance with platform rules.
