Vietnamese electric vehicle maker VinFast has launched its VF MPV 7 in the Philippines, making the country the third international market for the seven-seater electric vehicle as the company pushes to expand its footprint in Southeast Asia.
With the MPV segment representing nearly 20% of total automotive sales in the Philippines, VinFast is positioning the vehicle as an electric alternative for families seeking more spacious transport options.
The electric MPV measures 4.74 meters long, 1.87 meters wide, and 1.73 meters high, with a wheelbase of 2.84 meters.
VinFast said the vehicle was designed to accommodate multi-generational families and provide improved comfort even for third-row passengers.
The company said the VF MPV 7 has a cargo capacity of up to 1,240 liters and is powered by an electric motor producing 150 kW and 280 Nm of torque. It uses a 60.13 kWh battery pack with a claimed driving range of up to 450 kilometers under NEDC standards.

VinFast added that the battery can be charged from 10% to 70% in about 30 minutes using fast-charging technology.
In the Philippines, the VF MPV 7 is priced at P1.518 million for the battery-included version, while a battery subscription option is available for P1.239 million.
Under the subscription scheme, users will pay P2,700 monthly for up to 2,000 kilometers of use and P4,150 for usage beyond that threshold.
The company said owners will also receive free charging at V-Green charging stations nationwide until March 2029. The vehicle comes with a seven-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty, while the battery is covered by a 10-year or 200,000-kilometer warranty.
VinFast said orders for the VF MPV 7 opened on May 5 through its dealerships nationwide. The first 1,000 buyers who place orders before May 31 will receive one year of free battery subscription for up to 2,000 kilometers monthly. Customers purchasing the battery-included version will also get a P27,200 discount.

“The VF MPV 7 in the Philippines marks another step forward in VinFast’s global expansion strategy and demonstrates our long-term commitment to this market,” said Antonio “Toti” Zara, CEO of VinFast Southeast Asia.
“With its spacious interior, strong performance, optimized operating costs, and sustainable ownership value, we believe the VF MPV 7 will serve as a comprehensive upgrade for Filipino families and set a new benchmark in the MPV segment,” he added.
Alongside the launch, VinFast said it is expanding its dealership and aftersales network in the Philippines as part of efforts to support wider EV adoption in the country.
