Converge ICT Solutions said its subscriber base surpassed the three-million mark in the first quarter of 2026, driven largely by strong growth in its prepaid fiber Internet service.
The fiber broadband provider said its total subscriber base reached 3.09 million as of end-March 2026, up 14% year-on-year. The company said prepaid fiber brand Surf2Sawa posted the fastest growth, with subscribers rising 86.7% to 674,000.
The company also reported revenues of P11.2 billion for the first quarter, while net income reached P3.02 billion.
“We are focused on expanding our fiber footprint, especially in the Visayas and Mindanao, to serve more Filipinos with world-class connectivity,” said Converge co-founder and CEO Dennis Anthony Uy.
“Our enterprise customers will also get a boost with the completion of our national digital infrastructure that sets the stage for providing cloud and data heavy services.”
Converge said its enterprise business also grew during the quarter, with revenues increasing 16% to P2 billion.
The company recently completed what it described as a “future-ready” national digital infrastructure composed of fiber backbone and satellite networks, international subsea cable systems, cable landing stations, and data centers.
“Despite geopolitical turmoil affecting the local economy and its growth prospects, we are able to insulate much of our operations from these. Our financial performance in the first quarter remains steady and we assure our subscribers — now at 3 million — that we hear them, and we’re improving resolution of our network challenges,” said Converge president and co-founder Maria Grace Uy.
The company said capital expenditures for the first quarter reached P2.9 billion, with most of the spending earmarked for network expansion and upgrades.
Converge also said it continued to improve network performance and customer support metrics, including outage frequency and repair times.
