Delivery platform foodpanda Philippines said it provided more than P62 million in additional incentives to its delivery riders from March to May 2026 through a nationwide add-on quest program aimed at boosting rider earnings.
The company said the “Ka-panda Motorcycle Quest” allowed riders in Metro Manila and provincial areas to earn extra payouts by completing a target number of deliveries throughout the day.
Unlike some existing incentive schemes, the add-on quests reportedly required only the completion of delivery milestones without additional platform conditions.
foodpanda said around 95% of its active riders participated in and completed the quests.
Ron Sanders, rider experience lead at foodpanda Philippines, said the add-on incentives complemented the platform’s regular weekly incentive programs.
“Since rolling out these add-on incentive quests in March, we’ve seen how these initiatives can help support our riders’ day-to-day operations while providing more flexible earning opportunities on the platform,” Sanders said.
The company said its regular weekly quests still include platform performance requirements such as attendance and acceptance rates.
Delivery rider Hervie Agustin said the additional incentives helped cover fuel and household expenses.
“Malaking tulong para sa amin na may dagdag incentives kasi may pandagdag sa pang-gas at pang-araw-araw na gastos. Kahit simpleng extra income lang, malaking bagay na rin iyon para sa pamilya,” Agustin said.
Separately, foodpanda said its Labor Day “Double-Tipping” campaign generated more than P1.2 million in in-app customer tips for riders, which the company matched peso-for-peso, resulting in total rider payouts of P2.4 million.
The initiatives are part of the company’s Panda-Malasakit Project, which groups together rider, customer, and merchant support programs on the platform.
