GAC Philippines has introduced three multi-purpose vehicles spanning gasoline, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrains as the Chinese automaker expands its local lineup.
The new models are the seven-seat GN6, E8 HEV, and GN8 PHEV Executive. Their suggested retail prices range from P1.298 million to P3.488 million, although discounted launch prices will be offered for reservations made until Aug. 31.
“The official launch of the GAC MPV Family marks an important milestone in the continued growth of GAC Philippines,” said Calvin Cheng, general manager of GAC Philippines.
“With three distinct models, we are bringing Filipino customers a complete MPV lineup that can serve their changing needs, from flexible daily transit to premium travel and executive mobility. This reflects our long-term commitment to offer vehicles for every user and every journey.”
The entry-level GN6 is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine paired with a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. The system produces 176.7 PS and 270 Nm of torque.
The vehicle has a 2,810-millimeter wheelbase and provides 324 liters of luggage space with all seven seats in use. Folding the third row into the floor expands cargo capacity to 1,100 liters.
Its cabin is equipped with a 10.25-inch digital instrument display and a 14.6-inch touchscreen supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Safety equipment includes six airbags, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and automatic emergency braking.
The GN6 carries a suggested retail price of P1.298 million and a launch price of P1.198 million.
Positioned above it is the E8 HEV, which combines a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor and a two-speed dedicated hybrid transmission.
GAC said the vehicle can travel more than 1,000 kilometers on a full 60-liter fuel tank, with a WLTC fuel consumption rating of 5.58 liters per 100 kilometers.
The E8 HEV offers up to 18 seating configurations. Its second-row seats have power leg rests, ventilation, and massage functions, while the fold-flat third row allows cargo capacity to expand from 345 liters to 1,917 liters.
Other features include power-sliding doors, wireless phone charging, a 14.6-inch touchscreen, and driver-assistance functions such as traffic jam assist and integrated cruise assist.
The E8 HEV is priced at P1.858 million for the GL variant and P1.998 million for the GX. Their introductory prices are P1.778 million and P1.918 million, respectively.
At the top of the lineup is the GN8 PHEV Executive, a full-size plug-in hybrid designed for executive and premium passenger transport.
Its powertrain combines a 2.0-liter turbocharged Miller-cycle engine with an electric motor, delivering a combined 373 horsepower and 630 Nm of torque.
A 25.5-kWh lithium iron phosphate battery provides up to 120 kilometers of electric range under the NEDC testing cycle. GAC claims a total combined range of up to 1,038 kilometers. DC fast charging can bring the battery from 30% to 80% in about 45 minutes.
The GN8 PHEV Executive is equipped with second-row captain’s seats with power leg rests, heating, ventilation, memory settings, fold-out tables, and massage functions. It also has a 16-speaker audio system, tri-zone climate control, PM2.5 filtration, and dual power-sliding doors.

The GN8 PHEV Executive has a suggested retail price of P3.488 million and an introductory price of P3.338 million.
Reservations for the three models are now open through GAC dealerships nationwide.
