Landbank has urged its clients and the general public to be wary of an online scam using Google Ads that is linked to a fake Landbank website.

Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian said that online scammers usually use or buy SIM cards in the black market that are registered with e-wallets under people who sell or lend their identities.

Mark Deo Antang, a resident of Camarin, Caloocan City, was busted for selling 556 pieces of Globe and TM SIM cards with verified GCash accounts.
