Tech-enabled logistics firm Ninja Van Philippines has announced the promotion of its chief operating officer (COO) Vin Perez as the company’s new country head.
The company said the 3,700-square-meter warehouse, which can be expanded through a racking system, boasts a 2,400-pallet storage capacity and is able to process around 15,000 orders a day.
The company said the study was conducted across six countries - Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam – with over 9,000 participants to shed light on this group of avid e-shoppers, affectionately dubbed “e-shopaholics” by Ninja Van Philippines.
While Shopee (27.0%), Facebook (25.5%), and TikTok (22.5%) are ranked as the top three live selling channels, the close margins signal that the champion has yet to emerge in SE Asia.
Through the partnership, online purchases checked out on TikTok Shop in the Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia will now be picked up from sellers, sorted in hubs, and delivered to shoppers by Ninja Van.
