Sony says PlayStation 4 has reached 60-million milestone

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) reported new sales record for PlayStation 4 (PS4) computer entertainment system and its software titles, with the tech firm saying that PS4 has sold more than 60.4 million units worldwide, as of June 11, 2017.

Led by critically acclaimed titles such as “Horizon: Zero Dawn”, which has sold 487.8 million copies globally, PS4 software helped the Japanese entertainment company in harvesting this bragging rights along with the vibrant growth of 70 million monthly active users worldwide of PS4 accounts. PlayStation Plus has garnered 26.4 million paid subscribers worldwide, as of March 2017.

PS4?s portfolio is expected to continue to grow with highly anticipated games like Gundam Versus, Dragon Quest XI, Gran Turismo Sport, and Everybody?s Golf. The PS4 system is currently available in 123 countries and regions worldwide.
