Digital business solutions provider ePLDT recently tapped PLDT Enterprise to hold its first annual “Tech Caravan 2017: Enabling Success in the Hyperconnected World.”
The initiative showcases how enterprises can boost their efficiency and collaboration, business continuity, customer engagement and IT management through business tools and services such as cloud, data center, analytics, cyber security, managed IT and digital engagement solutions.
Representatives from ePLDT and PLDT Enterprise engaged with customers in Manila, North and South Luzon, and Visayas to introduce new business technologies that are built for their digital transformation journey.
In its Manila leg, ePLDT and PLDT Enterprise conducted industry-focused tech sessions for the retail and manufacturing, banking, financial and insurance (BFSI), IT-BPO and government sectors.
“Some organizations are already riding the wave when it comes to digital adoption. For many others, there’s still a long way to go. Adopting a dynamic approach now to automate core functions, improve workflow, attract and retain customers and redefine corporate culture are key transformation elements that will drive the competitive sustainability of companies,” ePLDT Group chief operating officer Nerisse Ramos said.
“We strongly believe that all businesses have the capability of reinventing themselves to win in the competitive market; they just have to start with the right technologies and strategies. This is where we come in—at ePLDT, we help companies of all sizes reap the benefits of today’s technology by offering solutions that are designed to solve pain points and achieve business outcomes.”
A recent Deloitte study found that tech adoption among small- and medium-sized enterprises is linked to their revenue growth. It also pointed out that SMEs that are not integrating the right business technologies in their core functions are at risk of falling behind those that do.
