Huawei debuts highly touted P20 series smartphones in PH

Ascendant Chinese tech firm Huawei has officially introduced in the Philippines its buzz-generating P20 series smartphones with a grand launch held at the atrium of SM Mall of Asia.

Unveiled by Miss Universe 2015 and Huawei brand ambassador Pia Wurtzbach, the event displayed the design and prowess of the P20 Pro, P20, and P20 Lite.

Clement Wong, director of global product marketing for the Huawei Business Group, discussed the breakthrough features of P20, particularly its AI (artificial intelligence) and Leica-powered cameras.

?Our engineering team is leveraging on the massive potential of AI to create a user experience unlike any other in the market right now. AI features enhance many aspect of the device like performance, battery life and camera,” he said.

?Creating a smarter camera was one of the most important goals we had when developing the P20, and I?m confident to say we achieved that,? he added.

At the event, attendees were given the chance to avail various promos such as trade-in program and Smart GigaX Plans.

The P20 Pro comes in three variants: Twilight, Midnight Blue and Black and is priced at P44,990. The P20, on the other hand, is available at Black and Midnight Blue colors for P34,990. Lastly, the P20 Lite has Klein Blue and Midnight Black options with a P15,990 price tag.
