Converge ICT Solutions is highlighting AI-ready data centers, international cable systems, cybersecurity, cloud services, and digital tools for small businesses at the Asean Tech Summit Manila 2026.
The two-day conference, which opened Tuesday, July 28, at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City, brings together government officials, regulators, investors, and technology companies to discuss digital inclusion, artificial intelligence, fintech, cybersecurity, and cross-border innovation.
Grace Jarin-Castillo, head of sales and marketing at the Converge Global Business Group, will discuss how broadband networks are evolving into integrated infrastructure capable of supporting AI, cloud computing, fintech, cybersecurity, and data-intensive services.
“Our digital economy is entering a new era where connectivity alone is no longer enough. Businesses now require an integrated technology ecosystem that combines resilient networks, cloud, cybersecurity, data centers, and managed services. As Converge evolves into a techco, we’re building the digital backbone that will enable Asean’s next generation of innovation,” Castillo said.
Converge has been positioning itself as a technology company, or “techco,” rather than solely as an internet service provider. Its infrastructure includes a domestic fiber network, links to international subsea cable systems, data centers, and enterprise technology services.
The company said these assets are intended to support rising demand for cloud platforms, AI workloads, digital finance, and business-critical applications.
Dindo Marzan, head of the company’s SME Group, will join a panel on the role of micro, small, and medium enterprises in digital supply chains. His discussion will focus on connectivity and digital business tools that could lower the cost of technology adoption among smaller firms.
“MSMEs account for the overwhelming majority of businesses in the Philippines, yet many are still taking their first steps toward digitalization. Our role goes beyond providing internet access — we’re helping businesses embrace digital tools that improve productivity, strengthen competitiveness, and unlock new growth opportunities,” Marzan said.
Converge is a co-presenter of the summit, which is organized by FinTech Alliance.PH and other Southeast Asian fintech and innovation groups in partnership with the Asean Business Advisory Council Philippines.
The company is also exhibiting its connectivity, cloud, cybersecurity, managed services, and other enterprise products during the event.
