Canon Marketing (Philippines) has appointed Rafael “Peng” Pleno as Director of Business Imaging Solutions, placing him in charge of the company’s managed print services, production printing, and digital workflow solutions for enterprise clients.
Pleno succeeds Kenichiro Kitamura, who has taken on a new role at Canon Inc.
In his new post, Pleno will oversee Canon Philippines’ Business Imaging Solutions unit, which serves organizations across banking, insurance, utilities, manufacturing, and other key sectors.
Pleno brings more than two decades of experience in managed print services, production printing, and digital transformation.
Before joining Canon Philippines, he worked as a consultant for one of the country’s largest technology firms, where he developed a services portfolio focused on Device-as-a-Service and Managed Print Services.
He also previously led local operations of a Singapore-based SaaS company, expanding its presence through channel partnerships and new market opportunities. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he supported the rollout of remote learning and development solutions.
“I am excited to lead the Business Imaging Solutions team at such an important time for Philippine businesses,” Pleno said.

Canon Philippines said the appointment aligns with its push to expand B2B solutions and support enterprise digital transformation, as demand grows for integrated imaging, printing, and workflow technologies in the local market.
