Technology companies have followed suit, offering to guide these businesses during their digital ?journey.?One of the tech firms is South Eastern Data Center, Inc. (SEDCI), a subsidiary of the Synergy 88 Group of Companies.

I?n Nov. 8, ?Maria Carmencita Burgoz-Nepomuceno, CEO of SEDCI, led the launch of her company’s new line of product offerings.?These are enhancements in the areas of infrastructure as a service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS) and Cloud Services to help businesses in transitioning to the cloud.

?SEDCI is a carrier-neutral data center, which has also partnered with various organizations announced at the event. Its products are expected to broaden its wide array of solutions ?tailored to provide the space and security that growing businesses need for their information requirements.

?Burgoz-Nepomuceno said their expanded products are Cloudable (IaaS), Cloud Appclick (SaaS), Cloud Applus (API), Circuit (Connectivity), and Managed IT Services.

To upgrade and enhance its product offerings, the company has also partnered with Globe myBusiness (Cloud Saas), Cr8v Web Solutions (HRIS, payroll and time-keeping Saas), and Xirrus, Inc. (Accounting Saas).

These partnerships are crucial to helping small business owners adjust and face the challenges brought about by new technologies, she said.

?Business transformation is shaping the future of industries around the world and cloud-driven products, services and experiences will definitely play a big role in enhancing the competitiveness of companies, large or small,? she said.

The advances in the digital world prompted SEDCI to roll out the new cloud-based enhancements aimed at giving organizations the opportunity to take advantage of key transformative technologies, among them, social, mobile, big data analytics, and Internet of Things (IoT), she said.

She added that the advances will help enable budding enterprises to take their first few steps to the cloud.??In the process, SEDCI products lead to increased business agility, lower costs, and reduced IT complexity on the road towards innovation and transformation,? she added.

The company came at the right time as the Philippines, Burgoz-Nepomuceno said, “still lags behind other countries in the Asia Pacific in terms of cloud adoption, but is gradually growing.” She cited a study by the Asia Cloud Computing Association (ACCA).?In 2014, she said, the Philippines was in the 10th rank and in 2016 at 9th in Asia.

The SEDCI head said cloud adoption is rising driven by governments’ digitization.?Meanwhile, she said for their new products, they will focused on Metro Manila for the next three years, eyeing e-commerce, retail, food, entertainment, education, manufacturing and other key industries.

?Our ultimate aim is to move business ahead,? she emphasized.
