Enterprise growth lifts Converge revenues to P22.4 billion

Converge ICT Solutions saw its enterprise business grow by double digits in the first half of 2026, helping offset slower growth in its residential broadband segment and pushing consolidated revenues to P22.4 billion.

Enterprise revenues rose 15.1% to P3.9 billion from a year earlier. Revenue from small and medium enterprises increased 15.7%, while the enterprise and large corporate segment grew 14.8%.

The strong enterprise performance helped lift total revenues by 3.1% from P21.8 billion in the same period last year.

The residential business remained Converge’s largest revenue source at P18.5 billion. Its subscriber base reached 3.09 million as of end-June.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization increased to P13.3 billion, equivalent to a margin of 59.1%. Net income after tax stood at P5.5 billion, representing a net income margin of 24.4%.

Converge reported a return on invested capital of 14.9%. Net debt remained at P15.6 billion, while cash capital expenditures totaled P5.7 billion during the six-month period.

The company said its average fixed broadband download speed reached 158 Mbps, with an average latency of five milliseconds. It received Ookla Speedtest Intelligence awards for “Best Internet,” “Fastest Internet” and “Best Fixed Latency” for January to June 2026.

Converge also said customer complaints fell by 84% from January to June. The average time needed to repair outages declined by more than 60%, while same-day resolution rates improved following an expansion of its field technical capacity.

“Converge has always been focused on delivering the best quality service to its customers. Our upload speed reached a six-month high, while our network delivered best-in-class latency, reflecting the continuous investments we have made to improve customer experience,” Converge CEO and co-founder Dennis Anthony Uy said.

The company also named former Supreme Court senior associate justice Estela Perlas-Bernabe as chairperson following its annual stockholders’ meeting on May 29.

She replaced former Department of Transportation secretary Jose De Jesus, who had held the post since Converge listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange in October 2020. De Jesus will remain an independent director.

“I am deeply honored to serve as Chairperson of the Board of Converge. I am truly excited to lead the Board as the fiber Internet provider evolves into a future-forward technology company,” Perlas-Bernabe said.

Despite the enterprise gains, Converge lowered its full-year revenue growth guidance to between 4% and 6%, citing inflationary pressures that have persisted since the second quarter.
