South Korean tech giant Samsung Electronics is pitching its latest flagship smartphones as gaming-focused devices, highlighting performance upgrades and display technologies aimed at mobile and console gamers.
The company said the new Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which Samsung claims delivers a 24% boost in GPU performance compared to the previous generation.
According to Samsung, the device is designed to support high-performance mobile gaming through faster loading times, smoother frame rates, and an upgraded vapor chamber cooling system intended to reduce overheating during extended gameplay sessions.
The smartphone also features a 5,000mAh battery and 60W fast charging support.
Samsung is likewise positioning the foldable Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 as a gaming and multitasking device, citing its 8-inch main display, 16GB RAM configuration, and UFS 4.0 storage.
The company said the foldable form factor allows users to run messaging and voice communication apps such as Messenger and Discord while gaming.
Beyond smartphones, Samsung also showcased its gaming-focused display products, including the Samsung Odyssey OLED G7 gaming monitor and the Samsung OLED S90H smart TV.
The Odyssey OLED G7 offers 4K resolution and fast response times, while the OLED S90H includes Samsung’s “Glare Free Real Black & Real Color” display technology aimed at improving image quality for gaming and entertainment.
Samsung said it will hold its “Great Samsung Sale” from June 1 to June 30, offering discounts, cashback deals, and trade-in promotions for selected devices.
“Whether gaming on the go with the Galaxy S26 Ultra, utilizing the multitasking capabilities of the Galaxy Z Fold7, or experiencing immersive visuals on a high-end display, Samsung’s latest devices are designed to enhance performance and empower gamers,” the company said.
