Converge ICT Solutions ranked as the fastest broadband provider in the Philippines for the first quarter of 2026, based on a report by analytics firm V-SPEED.
In its SpeedGeo Broadband Internet Speed Ranking, V-SPEED said Converge posted an average download speed of 129.7 Mbps, placing it ahead of PLDT and Globe.
The ranking covered the period from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026 and was based on 365,640 tests conducted across fixed and mobile broadband connections.
PLDT followed with an average download speed of 120.7 Mbps, while Globe recorded 108.9 Mbps, according to the report.
Upload speeds were broadly comparable between Converge and PLDT at over 121 Mbps, while Globe trailed at 93.4 Mbps.
Latency results showed PLDT with the lowest average ping at 23.7 milliseconds, compared to Converge’s 32.3 ms and Globe’s 32.2 ms.
“Converge ranked first in Philippines’s SpeedGeo Broadband Internet Speed Ranking for the period from 01.04.2025 to 31.03.2026,” the report said.
V-SPEED said the rankings were determined primarily by average download speeds, with operators required to account for at least 3% of total tests to be included.
The firm added that its measurement process includes filtering out anomalous or fraudulent data and follows international standards, including ITU-T Q.3960 guidelines, to reflect real-world user experience.
